Common questions
Are the widgets free?
Yes. No account, no API key, no usage limit, and no charge. The only condition is that the Powered by Alphabit credit stays visible.
Do the widgets track my visitors?
No. The embeds set no cookies and run no analytics or third-party scripts. They render a server-generated number and nothing else.
How often does the data update?
Both widgets update daily from the same pipeline that powers the main site. There is nothing to refresh on your end — the iframe always renders the current reading.
Will the widget match my site's theme?
The widgets follow the visitor's light or dark system preference. Set the iframe width and height to suit your layout; the content scales to the frame.
Can I use these in a newsletter?
Most email clients strip iframes, so an embed will not render in an email. For newsletters, link to the tool page instead — or screenshot the widget and credit the source.
